The Solidarity Collective is founded on the understanding that effective change is rooted in community discussion, and that in order to target hate and racism, we must include a wide variety of voices in those discussions.

As a result, the collective is comprised of many BIPOC and LGBTQ2S youth activists, artists, and makers from the area.

Lora Northway is the Mentor Lead Coordinator. She has been working in art-based activist spaces for over a decade.

Lee-Ann Chevrette is the Community Safety and Well-Being Specialist with the City of Thunder Bay. She bridges the relationship between the city and the grassroots initiatives promoted and facilitated by Solidarity.

Shelby Gagnon

Shelby Gagnon is one of the co-lead coordinators of the Solidarity Collective. She is an artist and maker currently residing in Thunder Bay.

Sarah (Sam) McPherson

Sam is one of the co-lead coordinators of the Solidarity Collective. They are an artist, writer and researcher currently residing in Thunder Bay.
