CRAFTIVISM: CHALLENGING SYSTEMS OF POWER

This workshop was held at Co.Lab Gallery and explored ways that individuals and grassroots organizations can communicate with systems of power effectively. Led by Caro Whipp and law student Michael Hyer, this workshop included a presentation on defining systems of power and grassroots efforts to communicate and combat social issues, a talk from local professor Dennis McPherson about his experiences challenging systems of power, and a series of crafting activities such as button-making, poster-making, banner-decorating, and embroidery.
